Today, Thursday February 26, 2009, it is 85 degrees here in Rockwall, TX. All windows and doors are open today. (NOT READY TO TURN A/C ON JUST YET!!!) And the ceiling fans are turning. Feels better in here now.
Adrian, a friend of son, Robert, mowed my front and back yard and Robert did the edging. I have always mowed the lady's yard next door since her husband passed away on Mother's Day 2006, so Adrian also mowed hers. They also straightened up my back patio. PRAISE THE LORD!!
This Saturday, the 27th, our single adults from our church are going down to Elm Mott, TX, just north of Waco. We are going to visit the Homestead Heritage (http://homesteadheritage.com/). I went with another group a couple years ago and it is an interesting place. Check it out when you have the time. Also, here is the new link to the B&B that my daughter's mother in law owns and Molli is the office manager. http://www.fensalden.com/index.htm.
Well, that is about all I have right now. Will stay with my lady, Jo Ann, tonight and this weekend. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

It is cold in Rockwall tonight.
Hello friends. How is everyone this weekend. It is chilly here in Rockwall tonight. The low will be in the mid 30's and Sunday the high is going to be somewhere near 60 degrees. This Sunday we have a lunch and choir practice for our Easter Musical on April 5th. We did this one about 7 years ago. The name is "On A Hill Too Far Away." It is a beautiful arraignment of songs.
Well, things have been pretty quite around here this week. Not much going on. Just going over and staying with my lady Jo Ann during the week. I normally have Saturday and Sunday nights off unless the other 2 caregiver's have something they want to do, the I will work those nights. I will see if I can get a picture of Jo Ann in my blog somewhere.
So tonight I am updating my blog and Facebook. Washing and drying more clothes. Not really my favorite chore, that and cleaning the kitchen. My son, Robert, has a friend who has been staying with us for about a month. He is between jobs and is helping around here. I came home the other morning and went in the laundry room and I could not believe my eyes. He had picked up all the things out of the floor and straightened up and it looked really nice. Thank you Adrian. He also will load the dishwasher and whatever needs to be done. How awesome is that. I told him I hope he rubs off on Robert. :-). Well, guess I will go and hope to write something later.

February is half over.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. All 3 of my kids received a few things from me and I in turn received from them. I received a package from my daughter, Molli, in N. California. My boys, well boys will be boys. I love them both. I would do anything for my children, because I love them so much. Even when they make me sad, which isn't very often, Praise The Lord.
Well, it is misting rain and chilly here in Rockwall today. I said with my lady, Jo Ann, last night, helping her with her dinner, etc. Up this morning between 7 - 8 AM. Had her breakfast ready by the time she finished her morning ritual. Out of there by 9:45 AM and headed to the church for
the Tuesday 55+ choir practice. Then came home and did a few things here and had to leave around 12:25 for my appointment with my CPA. Now I am back at home washing a load of clothes. I will head over to Jo Ann's before 6 PM this evening. Not much going on so far this week. I do have a Prayer Request that I received from a friend in my Sunday school class and I thought I would put it on my facebook page. Our nation used to be One Nation Under God, but it hasn't been for a very long time, so we need to pray each day that everyone will come back to God.

A New Week
Hello my friends,
Well, we have storms coming our way later tonight and I pray they don't make it here until after midnight. Our 55+ choir, which I am a part of, are going to singing with 2 other 55+ choirs tonight at another church. We are leaving our church at 3 PM. We will practice for an hour, then eat and the concert starts at 6 PM. Hope the storms stay away until after we get back home.
Well, I have to get ready and get to the church in about 45 minutes, so I hope to hear from some of you later this week. Hope you drop by soon.

It is the Lord's Day and I am rejoicing. I love singing praising to our Lord and that is what we did this morning in our worship service. Our pastor has been preaching on Attitudes the past 3 Sunday's. This morning it was on Replacing a Covetous Attitude (Num. 11: 4-35) when the Israelites were complaining about the manna, so the Lord decided to give them the quail. There was so much they could not eat it all and it turned bad. They thought that is what they really needed, but the Lord knew better. Oh wow, that is so how we are these days. We want it now and I can sometimes relate to that, do you?
Songs we sang this morning:
How Great Is Our God
How Great Thou Art
In Christ Alone
Victory Chant
Victory In Jesus
and the choir sang "Send Out The Singers."

The Weekend Is Here
Hello my friends. Glad you have joined me on my blog. Hope you might start one of your own. Then you can share with me what is on your mind or what you have been doing. If you have a prayer concern, just let me know and I will lift it up to our Lord. We are all sisters in Christ, so let's show each other how much we care.
Can you believe February is here and the 1st weekend is now upon us. This week has flown by and I really have not accomplished as much as I should have around this house. Could it be that I stay on this computer more than I do cleaning my house. (YES, YES I DO!!). That is one request you can lift up to the Lord for me. I need to be more productive and do things around here. I hope to accomplish something this weekend. The weather now is cool, but will get warmer today. It will be very windy the next couple of days and we are very dry around here. I watered around my foundation yesterday, but we still need a good soaking rain and I think we may get one next week. The spring storms will start in the next couple of months. How is the weather in your part of the country.
I talked with my daughter, Molli, yesterday and they have a new website for their B&B in N. California. They are part owners with her mother in law. They moved from here to there on Valentine's Day 2001. They love it there. Here is the new website: Welcome to Fensalden Inn. The scenery is so beautiful there. They are 1/4 miles from the Pacific Ocean in Northern California. There are hummingbird's everywhere and deer, ducks, goat's and many other kinds of birds. I have been there three times since Robert's passed away in September 2005. Check it out.
Well, I will go and hopefully start getting something done around here before the day gets away from me.
Hope your day is starting off in the right direction.

Still Awake at 12 Midnight
It is 12:30 AM Thursday morning and I am still wide awake. I thought I might write a few things on here and see who will comment on my blog. My cousin, Roz, who lives in Angel Fire, NM., helped my get this going. I have no idea what I will write, but I guess something will come to mind before the sun comes up.
I really don't have any political views, except I hope the new president knows what he has got himself into. I know that is one job I would not want to have. Only by the grace of God can he turn this country around.
Well, I hope I can find something interesting to talk about in the days ahead. We have been having beautiful weather here in Rockwall, TX. Hope your weather is warm and sunny wherever you are right now.
